To mark the launch of our third issue of Simulacrum this year on STIL (TE) // STILL (NESS) we present to you a silent online symposium.
Here you will find 14 contributions – of art historians, cultural theorists, philosophers, musicians, artists – some of whose texts are also featured in the magazine. They present diverging approaches to the elusive question of silence and stillness: how they frame our discourses, our possibilities, our sounds, and our times.
Because in all the ways we frantically try to manage ourselves, each other and our time, silence might be just waiting for us to stop talking:
