This edition presents to you a selection of texts which not only helped us to think about (and with) water, but also allowed us to re-think topics such as the Anthropocene, language, memory, consciousness, and history. In this issue fluid ecosystems emerge. Their stories are carried on through flows of heritage transmission, and they remind us to rethink what knowledge is, or could be.
